Due to differences in state licensures and state specific logistics and parameters, locations function a bit differently from each other.

New York
In NY we are listed under the state profession of Mental Health Practitioners, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT). We staff other creative arts therapist to offer highly customizable and creative means to healing. At this time, many insurances will not directly cover these specialized treatment methods, however our billing team can help you understand and navigate your out-of-network (OON) benefits. Ultimately this does allow you more say in your treatment.

Massachusetts
In MA we are listed under the state profession of Mental Health Counseling, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). We are trained and licensed as traditional mental health practitioners and may hold other credentials and specializations, including Creative Arts Therapy. In Massachusetts we are in network and covered by several major insurances. This makes mental health more accessible for many but does allow insurance companies to dictate frequency and type of services covered. Insurances we work with: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, MBHP/Beacon, Tufts
