Growing up, I promised myself I would live up to the meaning of my name, light. I figured the best way I could achieve this goal is simply by helping others, so I became a therapist.

I would like to guide others to find the light within themselves, each other, and/or pertaining to their situation to alleviate emotional burden and conquer personal challenges. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with addiction, mental disorders, trauma, and major stressors.

I’ve spent years serving marginalized communities and vulnerable populations such as people of color as an effort to tip the scale and provide them with adequate resources/support. I invite anyone to be welcomed into a safe space where they are the experts in their life. As a clinician, I adopt a non bias stance coupled with person-centered approach through creative interventions such as art therapy, music therapy, play therapy, etc. 

My goal is to put the client’s needs first and collaboratively create treatment plans that reflect those needs. I hope to help you not only find your light but to learn about its power and gain a better sense of self awareness in the process. Together, we shall improve your overall mental health and gain the skills needed to reach your therapeutic goals.
